Hot off the press!

Your "It's darling!" organisers have been working hard to promote the fair, which is a week on Saturday. I just can't believe it's come round so quickly. So I thought I would give you a little round up of everywhere that has covered us so far, if only to reassure Becky and myself that we have been doing the right thing...it's like having a party, you don't know who will turn up until the day.

But before I launch into what we've been doing, I thought I would post an article from July's Elle Deco magazine (super-glam), all about The Makery, the craft workshop hub that will be running workshops on the day. Customers will be able to learn how to make things themselves on the day and take away their creations for only £5! That has got to be a bargain. We're so pleased that The Makery are going to be doing this as it's something we wanted to do from the beginning, to give something extra to the fair in addition to shopping from loads of wonderful stalls.

Now onto our own press....

We had a wonderful story in the Bath Chronicle

And on the tourist board's official site Visit Bath

On Heart FM's website

Also on Bath 360 website

And listings in Bath Life magazine and The Bath Magazine

Of course our own wonderful stallholders have also been doing their bit and promoting us through their blogs and websites and Facebook pages and we will be continuing to leaflet the city. Apparently the customers of Found boutique in Aryglle Street really like the flyer and have been picking it up in droves So big thanks to Found for putting them on their counter next to the till. I've also got to say massive thanks to Green Park Station Market which a really big poster about the event on their board in the entrance hall and considering we will be open at the same time as their regular Saturday market, I think it's so generous of them to do this. Maybe we can encourage people to pop down there afterwards to have a look at more local artisans' work and just make it one big independent sellers in Bath day.

If anyone has any bright ideas about where else we should target, then let us know. We still have some time to get a few stories in before the big day!!

  1. Well done! I'm sure all the hard work will pay off. Love the flyer, by the way! Big thank-you to Becka for dropping mine to me personally: what service! See on Saturday!
