New venue for It's darling!

Did you think we had emigrated? We're sorry it's been a while since we blogged, but there have been lots of behind-the-scenes shenanigans.

First of all, we have changed venue. A few weeks ago we were told that Bath council wanted to use the Friends Meeting House for the Britain from the Air photography exhibition. Of course this threw us into a panic - we already had so many stalls booked and to be honest, we were looking forward to having more space and more stalls all under one roof. However, we didn't have much say in the matter and to their credit, Ethical Property who were running the bookings for the Friends House negotiated with the council that we could move to the Brunswick Room at the Guildhall. So we are back in our old spot, the same room as July. Which is a lovely space - high ceilings and proper Georgian architecture - the full-on Jane Austen experience.

However, the better news is that the council have arranged for us to also hire the Brunswick Room for the Sunday 12th too! They don't usually do this, but what with all the hassle - well, they felt helpful (and we are grateful). So now we can offer a slightly bigger day on the Sunday complete with facepainting and a teas and maybe a few more stalls. So all's well that ends well and shoppers can have a break from the Bath Christmas Market madness and spend some time with us instead.

We are still looking for a facepainter and for stallholders for Sunday so if you are interested please get in touch on itsdarlingfair@gmail.com.

Not long now!
